Lisbon is the capital and largest city of Portugal. It is also the seat of the district of Lisbon and capital of the Lisbon region. It is also the political center of the country, as seat of government and residence of the Head of State.

Tomar, also known in English as Thomar, is a city of some 20,000 and also a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 351.0 km² and a total population of 43,007 inhabitants. The municipality is composed of 16 parishes, and is located in the district of Santarém. Tomar lies in the most fertile region of Portugal, and one of the most fertile in the whole of the Iberian Peninsula: the Ribatejo ("by the river Tagus") meadows. It is located in the district of Santarém. The predominant treescape is agricultural, consisting of olive, pine and fig trees.

Nazaré is a town and a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 82,4 km² and a total population of 14,904 inhabitants. It is in subregion Oeste and Leiria district.
It has become a popular tourist attraction, advertising itself as a picturesque seaside village. Located on the of the Atlantic coast, it has long sandy beaches (considered by some to be among the best beaches of Portugal), crowded with tourists in the summer. The town used to be known for its traditional costumes worn by the fishermen. Their wifes worn the traditional headscarf and embroidered aprons over seven flannel skirts in different colours. These dresses can still occasionally be seen.

Golegã is a small municipality in Portugal with a total area of 76.6 km² and a total population of 5,629 inhabitants.
The municipality is composed of 2 parishes (Golegã and Azinhaga), and is located in the district of Santarém. The winner of the 1998 Nobel Prize for Literature, José Saramago, was born in the parish of Azinhaga in 1922.Golegã is considered the capital of the horse (Capital do Cavalo), and it has been the site for the gathering of breeders since at least the 18th century. Two fairs take place every November in Golegã: The Feira Nacional do Cavalo (National Horse Fair) and the Feira Internacional do Cavalo Lusitano, dedicated to the Lusitano horse.

Filipe's atelier is also located here,in the neighbourhood.

The seminars witch take place at Filipe’s studio in Entroncamento - Portugal have included the transportation from and to Lisbon airport, full accommodation, all material for painting as brushes, paints, firings, open medium , turpentine, it is not included the white porcelain.
The subjects for paint in seminar could be chosen between flowers, animals, landscapes, masks or portraits after agreement of the teacher.
